Fundraising Raffle for Cambodia and Vietnam Projects

For the price of a cup of coffee you can be in for a chance to win a gift card to the value of $150 and knowing that 100% of the proceeds are going towards our two international projects, one in Cambodia and one in Vietnam. The joy of helping those in need is far better than a quick buzz from a shot of caffeine right!

We are selling 100 tickets at $5 a ticket. First prize is a $150 Wish gift voucher, 2nd and 3rd prize is a $50 Wish gift voucher. Wish gift vouchers can be redeemed at Woolworths, Caltex and Big W. You can purchase tickets here. Good Luck!

About our projects. In Cambodia, our Rotary Club purchases rice, essential hygiene products and pushbikes to enable children to get to school, improving their education, whilst in Vietnam we purchase Vietnamese Health Insurance cards for those who cannot afford them for essential medical care. These projects directly help those in need, and by supporting these projects, you will also be helping. Visit our project page for additional information on our two projects.

Siem Reap Toilet and Bedroom Build

Fantastic response to the last minute fundraiser in association with Free To Shine in Siem Reap, Cambodia, to complete a build for a new toilet and convert an open under-house area into a secure bedroom for an at risk family. As soon as I receive photos I will put them up on our projects page, stay tuned for more updates as the build progresses.

End Tracoma

Club member Judy took the lead with organising and distributing hygiene kits as part of End Tracoma 2020. Tracoma is an infectious disease caused by  “Bacterium Chlamydia Trachomatis” and the infection is caused by a roughening of the inner surface of the eyelids. Read Judy's report on our clubs project page

Vietnam Health Cards

I am pleased to announce that Latitude 38 has just purchased 940 Health Insurance Cards for residents in Dong Thap Province in the south of Vietnam, that's 940 people who will not have to worry about paying for medical treatment for the coming year. Thanks to all of our supporters who made this happen.

This year we exceeded our goal ( last January we purchased 800 cards in Dong Thap Province ) and we are thankful that we have been able to again support those in need in Vietnam. If you would like to support us on this ongoing annual project let me know. Visit our project page
