The Club Board recently decided to sponsor a candidate for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). This continues the club's strong support for youth programs.
 
I continue to encourage you to engage with the club meeting each week and look over the material contained in earlier meetings. See the Archived Meetings tabs at the top of the page.

  • Literacy - UNESCO
  • The Benefits of Education - Girls and boys who learn to read, write and count will provide a better future for their families and countries. With improved education, so many other areas are positively affected. In short, education has the power to make the world a better place.
  • Teach Girls bravery, not perfection - We're raising our girls to be perfect, and we're raising our boys to be brave, says Reshma Saujani, the founder of Girls Who Code. Saujani has taken up the charge to socialize young girls to take risks and learn to program -- two skills they need to move society forward. To truly innovate, we cannot leave behind half of our population, she says. "I need each of you to tell every young woman you know to be comfortable with imperfection."
