March is Rotary's Water and Sanitation Month

President's Message

Kerrie S. and Brian N. attended Multiple District Presidents-Elect Training in Ballarat last weekend and had a great time. Kerrie went as District Youth Chair and Brian went as District Protection Officer and belatedly as President-Elect of our club as David C. felt unable to proceed in this role at this time. We are hopeful that David will be able to serve as our President before too long.In the meantime Brian is getting organised for the 2018-19 Rotary year and you should hear from him soon.

I hope you all are having a good and restful Easter.

Regards,

Deanne S.

President 2017-18

This week's meeting material

Global Citizen - Water & Sanitation - New girl and Global Citizen Ambassador Hanna Simone breaks Narrates this story about Water & Sanitation.

The Doubt Essential to Faith - A message for Easter: When Lesley Hazleton was writing a biography of Muhammad, she was struck by something: The night he received the revelation of the Koran, according to early accounts, his first reaction was doubt, awe, even fear. And yet this experience became the bedrock of his belief. Hazleton calls for a new appreciation of doubt and questioning as the foundation of faith -- and an end to fundamentalism of all kinds.
