President's Message

Here we are starting a new Rotary year with a new board and a fresh vision. The goals we are looking at achieving this year include the following:

  • Increase membership by a net of 2
  • Increase membership interaction - Establish a monthly fellowship meeting.
  • Promote Cambodian projects
  • Establish two other projects – at least one in Australia
  • Establish a twinning arrangement with another eClub
  • Have a good attendance at the District Conference
  • Contribute $A2000 to the Foundation through member personal gifts.
  • Contribute $A500 to PolioPlus
The Board will start working on these goals at next Monday night's board meeting (16 July) and you are welcome to join that online meeting.

Regards,

Brian N.

President 2018-19

This week's meeting material

Something from the Rotary Convention in Toronto last month:

Dear Fellow E-Club Member,
At the RI Convention in Toronto last month fellow e-clubbers from 10 clubs presented a 90 minute breakout session titled “Best Practices for E-Clubs”.
This well attended meeting (between 250 and 300 people were in the audience) used Zoom as the communication platform and several presenters were in virtual attendance. Other than some minor technical hurdles the session went off without any major problems and so far we  have received many positive responses.

The meeting was recorded and can be viewed at the YouTube channel of our club:

The powerpoint slides have been uploaded to slideshare.net and can be found here:

All the speakers and the e-clubs that participated can be reached by clicking on their name, as the slides have a hyperlink to both the club’s website and their  e-mail address.

Please share with your members and everybody else interested in learning more about e-clubs.

We are looking forward to your comments, suggestions and criticism as we move forward spreading the word about e-clubs in the world of Rotary.

Regards,
Peter Denooy
Rotary E-Club of Canada One
