Welcome to Meeting No. 191 of the Rotary eClub of Latitude 38
President's Message
I have just signed the memorandum of understanding on behalf of the club for the Sierra Leone Cricket Project. The aim of the project is to engage young people in the game of cricket in Sierra Leone as a means of promoting stability in their lives in an environment that is unstable and at times unsafe. This is a major project and the club should be proud that it has taken it on.
Next Monday (24 June) is our general meeting night with a guest speaker. At this stage I am hoping that our honorary member, George Dimitriadis will speak to us about his work and where he lives. I hope you can all turn out for it.
Another reminder that the Club's changeover will be held on Monday 1 July 2019 at 7.30pm online. I hope you can all be there to wish Grant and his team well for the year.
Here is an interesting video about survival after a serious illness presented by Suleika Jaouad. You can find it here
Have a good week.
