This week's meeting material
  • The club's project in Cambodia and Vietnam - 9 - 24 September 2016 - The Club's team has arrived in Cambodia  and commenced making our connections with the various projects we have become involved in. These include Grace House and Opportunities of Development through Art both programs that support disadvantaged children including the disabled. We are also planning a trip for 2017 bringing Year 10 kids from disadvantaged backgrounds in Australia to work directly on these projects. Thank you to everyone who contributed clothes and funds for our work. We have been joined by a sixth team member, Bob Creighton who was a late starter on the team. More next week.
  • The agony of trying to unsubscribe - James Veitch. It happens to all of us: you unsubscribe from an unwanted marketing email, and a few days later another message from the same company pops up in your inbox. Comedian James Veitch turned this frustration into whimsy when a local supermarket refused to take no for an answer. Hijinks ensued.
