This week's meeting material
- Promoting Peace - Conflict and violence displace millions of people each year. Half of those killed in conflict are children, and 90 percent are civilians. We refuse to accept conflict as a way of life. Rotary projects provide training that fosters understanding and provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts.
- What is Addiction? - Gabor Maté. Published January 2014. Dr. Maté talks about the root causes of addiction and how to deal with them. Item suggested by our member Janet M.
- A manifest from Generation Z - Elise By Olsen - TEDX Oslo - Published May 2016. Elise By Olsen is 16 year old and is the editor-in-chief of youth culture magazine Recens Paper. In her talk, she hopes to bring clarity about Generation Z and the essential themes from the youth point of view.
