This week's meeting material
- Saving Mothers and Children - Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger. We expand access to quality care, so mothers and children everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future. An estimated 5.9 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, inadequate health care, and poor sanitation — all of which can be prevented.
- Maternal and Child Health Programs - Rotary Australia - With projects running throughout much of the developing world, there are a multitude of opportunities for volunteers to get involved in overseas Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) projects. Rotarians make a difference through hout the world. For example, Bo Children's Hospital in Sierra Leone, built by the Rotary Club of Turramurra, is one of many projects through which we provide care, equipment, and training opportunities for health care staff to improve maternal and child health. Maternal and child health support the Eastern Highlands, Papua New Guinea Renovation & refurbishment of Reproductive Health Clinic awareness program for parents. Solomon Islands Kenya. Aspects of birthing and nutrition receive support. Choose how you want to make a difference and start changing lives today..
- Who would the rest of the world vote for in your country's election - Simon Anholt - Wish you could vote in another country's election? Simon Anholt unveils the Global Vote, an online platform that lets anybody, anywhere in the world, "vote" in the election of any country on earth (with surprising results).
